As a staff, we:

From our students, we expect them to:

• Learn to value education
• Work diligently
• Avoid actions that would interfere with other students' rights to learn
• Complete their homework assignments
• Support our school
• Take pride in our school and keep it clean and neat

From our parents, we encourage them to:

• See that their child attends school every day
• Set a time aside each day for their child to complete his/her homework
• Support the importance of their child always doing his/her best in school
• Teach responsible behavior
• Encourage their child to be respectful
• Visit the school when they can and attend at least one parent-teacher conference

We also encourage our parents to volunteer in a variety of areas. Some of these opportunities include: listening to students read, helping with class or seasonal parties, attending field trips, helping to make classroom items, teaching students how to do a craft, supporting sports or other extra-curricular activities.
