Healthy, interesting, and appealing choices for our students can be a challenging task in today's fast food world (as any parent knows).

Here at Fort Thomas Schools we have selected ARAMARK to manage our food service program. They bring vast experience and nutritional knowledge to our students and provide us with varied, fresh, and nutritionally sound menus at lowered prices.

One World Caf®, as the program is called, encourages greater student participation in our school lunch programs, while delivering improved quality and service. Our program includes:

  • healthy, and nutritional meals
  • a fun, contemporary eating environment
  • the“Spike”® mascot program (a fun way to provide nutrition education to our students and encourage healthy dining in the cafeteria)
  • hot and cold meals, a variety of choices

We offer a non-pricing lunch program for all students. The cost of meals for adults will be $2.00.

Monthly school menus will be posted below for your review. Just click on the menus below. They are displayed by either elementary (breakfast or lunch) or high school (breakfast or lunch).

*Arizona Food Safety Evaluation gave the Elementary School a Rating Grade of S (Satisfactory).

These menus can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader, and if you don't have this program on your computer, you can download a free version by clicking here and following the directions.

Nutrient Based Menus

The Food Service Department is excited to announce the implementation of nutrient based menus at Ft. Thomas School District. The nutrient based menu will allow us to offer a broader and healthier selection of foods to our students and staff.

All menus will be analyzed using USDA approved software to ensure that meals meet established nutritional guidelines. The nutrient based menus will also better prepare the food service department to meet standards of recently passed AZ state nutrition legislation and USDA local wellness policy standards that will be put in to effect during the 2006-2007 school year.
